A 28-year old woman is struggling to come to terms with what she describes as mysterious death of a suitor after the collapse of her previous relationship. Sarah Liwal, a teacher trainee, is pointing accusing fingers at her ex- husband whom she believes has cast a spiritual spell on her. Sarah who believes she is the cause of her partners’ death suspect her ex- husband, Ebenezer Beleban to be using juju powers to turn men away from her. The distraught woman who is a native of Tatale Dondoni in the Northern Region in an interview with Nhyira FM said after parting ways with her ex-husband; she met a man who wanted to marry her. Sarah noted that, her husband to be fell sick one night after they had had sex and “he told me he dreamt someone was stabbing him”. She said, the man suddenly started coughing and vomiting blood so he was rushed to hospital when his condition worsened but died weeks later. Sarah also revealed that, her second suitor after dating for some months also suffered a strange ailment and died. The young lady is now reluctant to go into another relationship for fear of suffering the same fate. “I consulted a fetish priest who confirmed that any attempt to enter marriage will be fatal to prospective husband” she added. Sarah Liwal is pleading with spiritual leaders to come to her aid to break the spell her angry ex-husband cast on her.
